Alex Rúnarsson quitte le DFCO pour Arsenal
L’information est tombée ce lundi soir : un accord a été trouvé entre le DFCO et le club anglais d’Arsenal pour le transfert de Rúnar Alex Rúnarsson, sous réserve des derniers détails administratifs. Ci-dessous le communiqué du club dijonnais.

Le DFCO officialise le transfert de Rúnar Alex Rúnarsson à Arsenal FC (Premier League). Le gardien islandais de 25 ans a signé un contrat de 4 ans avec les Gunners, à la recherche d’un gardien de but pour épauler Bernd Leno.
Recruté pour 4 ans en 2018 en provenance du FC Nordsjælland, club danois de Superligaen, Rúnar Alex Rúnarsson a joué 45 matchs toutes compétitions confondues sous le maillot du DFCO. Depuis la saison 2019/2020, il était devenu la doublure d’Alfred Gomis.
